Top 10 Albums of 2010: Number 7-

Sorry I have been absent, the holiday took over my life. I am going to go ahead and blog about Number 7 even though I already announced 9 and 8 (Band of Horses "Infinite Arms" landed at number 9 with "Teen Dream" by Beach House took the 8th spot on the countdown).

At Number 7 is

Kings of Leon "Come Around Sundown"

This is their 5th album, it was released October 19th. After the massive success of "Only By The Night" in 2008, the band played it cool on this album. As a big KoL fan I am happy with the record and have found classic songs that I will rank up there with Trani & The Bucket. Tracks that I have been enjoying "No Money", "Mary", "Pony Up" & "Pickup Truck."

Top 10 Albums of 2010: Number 10-

I love music and each year I compile a list of albums I enjoy. This year I decided to write a small blog entry on why I chose that album.. .

TOP 10 ALBUMS OF 2010

Coming in at Number 10:

Spoon- Transference (January 18th, 2010)

I never got really into Spoon until their record "Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga" so when I heard they were releasing some new material I figured I got the album. It did not disappoint. Full of rich sounds and great sing-along tracks. Here are a handful of tracks I enjoy- "Is Love Forever", "Who Makes Your Money", "Got Nuffin'."

An Ugly Party Christmas Sweater

For a year or so my friends Kelly and Lawrence have invited me to their parties numerous times. Finally I attended one and guess what? It was actually fun. Yeah, I don't dance. Yeah, I don't drink or smoke. That's right, when people started talking about a song by Willow I thought they were talking about the midget from the 80s movie. A chick made fun of my Nationals cap asking if it was from Walgreens. One female used adult language to tell me about her shirt with a duck on it (not very Holiday like). Crazy dance off in the middle of the floor in which DR. GO won. A mix bag of music from Journey to Miley Cyrus to Barenaked Ladies. It is easy for me to say that I am looking forward to the next one I get invited too.

-I guess I have to go back due to the fact that this wasn't the best one.

Chicks on TV

Who is hot? Most guys find Jessica Alba, Kim Kardashian, or Megan Fox drop dead sexy. Not to me. I am an odd ball guy so here is a list of my Top Five Hot Females on TV.

Number 5

Kristin Kreuk

Most of you might know Kristin Kreuk from her role on Smallville as Lana Lang. I love the show Chuck and was surprised to see her on a handful of episodes. Even though she is from Canada, I still think she is fine.

Number 4

Julie Bowen

Julie Bowen has hit it big with the family comedy Modern Family as Claire Dunphy but I will always remember her as Carol Vessey from Ed. I wish they would release Ed on dvd. That show was a really good show.

Number 3

 Alison Brie

Community is a show that comes on NBC every Thursday nite. Alison plays Annie. This show is probably the funniest ones out there. She plays a nerd on the show. Another show she is on is Mad Men, she is Trudy Campbell.

Number 2

Aubrey Plaza

How hot is she?I love her character on Parks & Recreation. She plays April, this bored girl who never really wants to work. She was in Funny People as well.

Number 1

Tina Fey

She is the hottest female on television and the funniest. How amazingly cool is Tina Fey? Her character Liz Lemon has the worst luck but its so funny. I have a friend that is exactly like Liz Lemon. Man, she is the greatest.

Honorable Mention

Sarah Hyland

Sarah plays Haley Dunphy (Julie Bowen's daughter) on the hit show Modern Family. Before you go off reporting me, she is 20. Her character is a stuck up snob, pretty funny.

There they are my top 5 + another best looking females on television. If you can't tell by my list, I kind of dig brunettes.

A Dudes Agreement.

One of my childhood friends got married in 2006, Rachel. Her husband (Skill) is now one of my best friends if not my best overall. During October of 2006 we were all at a football game. Skill and I were talking about my beard. No clue how the deal was brought up but basically if I could go three years without shaving my beard (unless a job made me or a wedding) they would named their child after me. That is a picture of my friend MIA & I. In the middle of the second year of the bet I called Rachel to make sure the bet was still on. She seemed as if it was up in the air. Rachel did say that if they have a girl they would name it after me. Shortly there after I trimmed my beard and felt as if I lost the bet. Late September they announced that they were expected their first child. This past Monday they found out the sex of their child. It's a girl. Elizabeth James Schillage. I am so happy for the two of them and I cannot wait for the child to be born.

Hello Old Friend

Perhaps it was a year ago I blogged every week. I enjoyed the sharing stories with a handful of my friends. I was going to start it all over again but I lost my log in so I made this my new blog spot. Many stories have been made since the last time I blogged so I will share with you later on. I am out. Take care.

A first class dude,
